Having had braces as a child, Dr. Haeger saw orthodontics as a way to combine his love of science and his passion for helping people in a hands-on way. He thoroughly enjoys seeing the positive changes that orthodontic treatment can bring to his patients’ lives. He is recognized as a progressive orthodontist who embraces new forms of treatment and technology and has established a reputation for achieving excellent clinical results.
Dr. Haeger and the seasoned team at Haeger Orthodontics attract patients of all ages with their friendly approach and skill as well as state-of-the-art technologies. Dr. Haeger’s soft-spoken personality and playful sense of humor put patients at ease. It’s no coincidence that Haeger Orthodontics is the choice for many local dentists when their family members need orthodontic treatment.

Get to Know Dr. Moon
Dr. Thomas Moon decided to become an orthodontist to pursue his passion for helping patients achieve beautiful and confident smiles. Dr. Moon is always excited to meet his patients and values each one of his personal relationships with them. He is thrilled to be a part of the Haeger Orthodontics team and to work side by side with Dr. Haeger to provide the patients with an exceptional level of care.
For his training, he completed both his dental and orthodontic specialty programs at the Ohio State University. Dr. Moon stays current with the latest advancements in orthodontics including Invisalign and temporary anchorage devices. He holds professional affiliations with American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, and American Dental Association. Before moving to the evergreen state of Washington, he practiced in a Chicago suburb.
Dr. Moon currently resides in Issaquah with his 4-year-old cockapoo, Luna. In his free time, he likes to play golf, soccer, and snowboarding. New to Seattle, he enjoys exploring the city, watching the Sounders at Lumen Field, and hiking various mountain trails.

Dr. Haeger’s orthodontic journey has offered him opportunities as an educator, leader, and pioneer in the latest orthodontic techniques.
With publications in various academic studies and as a frequent lecturer at the University of Washington, if anyone knows orthodontia, it’s Dr. Haeger.
He educates future orthodontists on orthodontic laser treatment, specialized orthodontic implants, and how to maximize treatment efficiencies so patients can spend less time and money wearing braces.

A Passion For Orthodontics Sparked His Purpose To Serve Others
Dr. Haeger founded the local chapter of Smile for a Lifetime (S4L) Foundation to benefit local youth. He initiated the S4L program at Haeger Orthodontics and donates full orthodontic treatment to eight local teens every year.
In addition, he has sponsored local sports teams and helped fund local teen education through college scholarships.
